I'm looking to reserve a room several months in advance. But I am unsure of the exact dates. I'm asking as I want to grab the room at the great point redemption rate with a suite upgrade.

Is it possible to shorten the stay by 1 or 2 days after confirmation without cancelling and rebooking? If I cancel and rebook, then the award/suite availability will very likely be very different.
