Had no idea. Now I see why AS perhaps chose 6 for their initial plan. While I have no reason to dispute NYT's conclusions here, I'd have to imagine those, say, in the SF Bay Area must fly higher than the national average. Would it be that absurd to think the avg Bay Area person flies at least 3 RTs per year?

Well, since I live in an area with draconian pandemic restrictions, I had to escape frequently for my own sanity. Now, it'll be interesting if I keep with the 50 once...er...*if* we finally embrace this as endemic and move on. These 50 flights were primarily because of the F9 match and purchased via DD at around $15 - $20. Anyone can afford that--it's a stimulus check.
