Second meal in Club World: a sausage roll!

ok - I get we are trying to do ‘British’ but as an alternative, what’s wrong with a cold salad with protein element aka a Club Europe Band 1 of old - chicken/salmon salad? Or a charcuterie? I like sausage rolls but they’re not a meal in my view. Presumably they are offered with a warm bread roll so it’s a total carb fest.

The main meal option I’d like to see reinstated would be the main course chilled salad. I’m no health freak but I always think keeping ‘airline food’ relatively simple is the best. I agree a curry normally works well too - but trying to offer a panini or something is just asking for trouble due to the ovens.

I agree if you’re serving pie you need some veg to go with it. Nothing wrong with pie and mash (and veg) but we may as well transfer the club europe sausage and mash meal. These just are not business class quality meals. As I say, for me, doesn’t have to be anything fancy but it would be nice to have balanced nutrition.

If serving two cheeses then agree totally at least one should not be yellow / orange!

Appreciate Rome wasn’t built in a day and the airline has been hit hard but I know they CAN do better than this!
