Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere. I saw some threads on SQ21 or SQ23 separately, but nothing for my specific issue.

I'm looking to book some flights for a trip to the US and note that both SQ21 (EWR-SIN) and SQ23 (JFK-SIN) are scheduled for June 8. Is it likely that either one of these will be cancelled closer to the date? And if so, which?

I'll have a domestic flight on a separate PNR flying in to the NYC area the day before, and stay at an hotel near the airport overnight before the flight to SIN, so I don't want the hassle of having to travel across from one side of NY to the other if an SQ flight I've booked for gets cancelled and I get re-booked on the other flight. I can't imagine that both flights would be anywhere near full...
