SAS has been "swimming naked" for quite some time. But when they've had as much government support as they've had, perhaps that has an impact on the sense of urgency felt even when things are ugly. Even when feeling a great sense of urgency, SAS has to also consider the risk from cutting off its nose to spite its face when in the process of any kind of organizational rationalization.
