Before opting to use Avios for LAS-LAX-LAS, I'd suggest checking cash fares on AA, AS, and WN (WN=Southwest, bookable only at southwest.com). I'm seeing some Economy Class one-way fares of just $49 USD to LAX and $59 to BUR (if BUR works out better for the OP) on Southwest on some dates in April.

I would think twice before spending 7,500 Avios + $5.60 USD for a flight that could be purchased for $49-$59.
