We'll be in Las Vegas in April and are considering an overnight stay in LA. How can I check Avios availability for LAS to LAX return flights?
Our trip to the US is EDI-LHR-LAS and we stay in T5 in when we get to LHR. Do we just go straight to the departure lounge or do we have to go through security again? Previously when we've travelled to LAS we've had to change terminal and go through security again but I'm not sure if that's necessary if we don't leave T5.

Arriving from EDI at T5 just follow signs for Flight Connections T5. There is a boarding pass check then up the escalator to the departures lounge ( no security check needed- previously LAS was from T3 with a bus transfer then security required but no security for a T5 DOM-Intl route)

You should be able to check on BA.com ( book with avios) to check availability between LAX and LAS ( I did a quick check for end of April, there was no availability on LAX-LAS but there was some on LAS-LAX on 22/4 for example)
