I took a 26" monitor with me in checked baggage on BA Cityflyer last summer when "working from home". Had no issues transporting the item well packed in a large suitcase and it made the journey both ways without issues. These will be too large to take into the cabin on LCY aircraft so set your expectations accordingly now and pack the items appropriately with plenty of padding to avoid breakages. Bolster your items with rolled up towels in addition to bubble wrap within the suitcase. Don't just turn up at check in with a monitor in bubble wrap and expect it to arrive in one piece .... if ever.
