I mean, why not just use the LUV vouchers on one of your trips instead of an award ticket. Using a $100 ticket to pay for $5.60 in taxes per ticket sounds tiresome. I don't think travel funds can be applied towards the expensive international taxes in the Caribbean if that's the route you were thinking here either.
I don’t pay cash for WN tickets ever. I have a small stash of WN miles to get through but otherwise I never intend to give them a cent of my money. Long story but I hate just about everything about them.
Anyway turns out LUV Vouchers can be turned in to travel bank funds and I’ll use it for a trip to Jamaica (where WN somehow passes on more taxes than most other airlines)
