Yes, they did. Had to call 3x. The last call was to their call center in India. After talking to the manager, they said they would submit a request to have the points reinstated. A week afterwards, I saw the points in my account.
This almost describes my situation to a T with the double cash card and its expiration. Currently waiting on an answer but hoping this pans out like it did for you.
