The C1 rep told me to remove the "H-" to get the Hertz reservation number but the same process didn't work for Marriott. Even with removing the "H-", the confirmation number C1 provides is too long for a Marriott confirmation number. I do know that Marriott will add your member number to your reservation at the front desk, but you won't accrue points but it will count towards your Lifetime status.
