If it's a work day, you may want to consider staying closer to the airport. Traffic in Istanbul is bad, rush hour is brutal. You would need to leave very early to avoid any stressing.
The only time I've stayed closer to the airport, we stayed in the Frt Airlines Hotel in Arnavutköy, just south of the airport. There are tons of airport hotels there to choose from, but I would recommend this one for the one night. When we stayed there (back in Oct. 2020) it was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious. It's a very modern/business-like decor. There were also a few small restaurants and cafes within a 2-minute walk to choose from. It was perfect for the one night, and then a very easy ~15 or 20 minute drive to the airport.
While it's still a little bit of a drive to the airport, you won't have any traffic and is much easier than coming from the city. I don't remember exactly how we arranged a car but I think we called an Uber.
