Hotels close to Istanbul airport - early morning flight
We have an early morning flight from IST - ATH (leaving 7:40 am). We are staying at the Hilton Doubletree Sirkeci which seems like quite a long way from the airport.

Is it worth leaving the Doubletree and staying our last night near the airport? The hotels near the airport don't sound very nice and still seem to be several miles away anyway.

What is the best way to get from the hotel to the airport at that hour from the Doubletree in the morning/middle of the night if we do stay there our last night?
