It’s way too early to get an opinion on AY in December - both the hard product is amidst a new rollout (and no one here has experienced it BIS), the food offering is changing etc. If you absolutely want to commit to tickets now, better go with JL. If you want to try possibly AY, better do it on the day flight. As it’s not a day flight to or from HND, connect at eg CTS.
