I called up to do it yesterday (Wednesday) , the guy told me I needed to email to confirm that I wanted a refund rather than voucher.
Found the online form and completed, getting confirmation email.

to somewhat answer my own question.
Received an email this morning, it said that funds were being refunded to my card and told me this should happen in 14 days.
Obviously seeing is believing, but finger’s crossed 🤞
A whole lot easier than when I last had to do this in March 2020!
