Hilton T&Cs state that "Gold Hilton Honors Members may be upgraded to preferred rooms". A quick search of rates shows that sea view is priced a bit higher (e.g. 70 AED more) than skyline, so I'd think the property considers this "preferred" (though I would note that they both seem to price to the same 70k standard award category). If you don't want this room type, I'd just let the property know.
