Not sure what you asked for in SAR but the calls should be shown in there if you asked for all records regardless of date for the PNR. If they don’t it shows BA are not giving you the whole truth which is suspicious.
Yes, this is what I'm thinking. More just as a representation of our many attempts to discuss our booking with BA and the difficulties we faced in getting an answer (or a straight answer), a pattern which ultimately repeated when we needed to speak to them to get home. And like you say, adds credibility to the reassurance we received at check-in about our return journey.

I had asked for all phone records in the SAR, but only from my number. I've just followed up to request all records from my partner's number too. We'll look into contacting our phone providers too.
