The UA meal looks fine. If the slightly better looking Delta meal were actually important to consumers in the international business class travel market, they'd drop their UA miles and switch over to the SkyTeam. If the market really cared about this, UA would have to improve their meals, but business travelers and frequent flyers disagree.
And one way to understand this, I would think, is to include the Polaris lounge - it's better than a Delta Skyclub. So you get a good meal at the airport and a good night's sleep on the plane.
If inflight services in business class are NOT important, then why bother with Polaris lounge?
United is way behind on the soft product on board. Alaska, Delta, JetBlue, and even American are all objectively better.
