And the lamb shank was one of the best I've ever had on the ground or in the air. Better than the exorbitantly expensive lamb shank I had at the
Alila Marea a few days before!
So much better I could not believe it.
And why do I make this comparison? Because this is what I received last time I flew from Newark to Amsterdam on United a few months prior:

The UA meal looks fine. If the slightly better looking Delta meal were actually important to consumers in the international business class travel market, they'd drop their UA miles and switch over to the SkyTeam. If the market really cared about this, UA would have to improve their meals, but business travelers and frequent flyers disagree.
And one way to understand this, I would think, is to include the Polaris lounge - it's better than a Delta Skyclub. So you get a good meal at the airport and a good night's sleep on the plane.
