A pleasure. Definitely if taking your Mother then the lounge on 7 is a must. The window view is very hard not to be impressed by, even as a regular. For your Mother it is a great place to sit and get a uniquely wide view across Wellington Arch, the bottom end of Green Park towards Buckingham Palace and of course Hyde Park Corner towards the new Peninsular hotel.

The afternoon tea is of a nice standard. Food in the evening a little thin but reasonable quality. but drinks and champagne are plentiful. I hope the breakfast is back for you by time of your stay. It is of a very nice quality and much more efficient service wise than on ground floor. I am sure she will enjoy. And what a good way to use a BOGO.
