Arrived here yesterday. As Ambassador got "corner room" which seems like the very normal room, just there is another 1 m wide window in one corner. I saw suites available in the Marriott app, but the front desk said that those are blocked for Test&Go users.
What I have understood, according to the staff at the front desk, is that they have currently just a few floors open, out of which some are for normal guests and some for Test&Go use. Now, when person would come with Test&Go, then the person is put on Test&Go floor room or suite until the test results have arrived in. Once the test results are in, the person needs to move to normal floor. This means when for example someone wishes to do 5-day Test&Go here it would look like the following:
Day 1 - Upon arrival getting a room/suite on Test&Go floor for some hours. Should the negative test result come in before late evening, then you'd need to change to normal floor later in the same day.
Days 2 to 4 - "Normal" floor
Day 5 - Move with your things to a room/suite on Test&Go floor until the test results are in, after that move back to "normal" floor.
So, if you plan to do Test&Go here for 5 days, you'd better not unpack your things as you'd be moving a lot between floors and rooms/suites.
Afternoon tea is served at the lobby bar next to the reception. Some cookies and cakes, also a salty snack (yesterday was "Russian ham roll" which was basically potato salad wrapped up with ham).
Creative hour is at Tempo bar, but it quite busy, so there was spillover to the main restaurant as well. 2 hot options were served to the table, everything else was in buffet style. Not big selection, but what was there was pretty well done and tasty.
Breakfast this morning was good - decent selections, including fresh coconuts, berry muesli, chia pudding, various salads, good cold cuts (incl salmon), 3 flavours of gelato, various hot options, salads etc. Prosecco served at the table as well.
As Ambassador welcome gift in the room was given a small jar of popcorn and a welcome note.
I also understood that they plan to open other floors later this year, including new Club lounge on 24th floor.
The room itself - well, not that good for remote work as the desk is narrow in depth and there is no desk light, if you would like to get extra light source for your video calls. But the desk chair is decent. Plenty of USB charging points, even 2 in the bathroom.
I would say their strongest selling point is the F&B.
Perhaps on one of the days later in the week, when the suite on the normal floor is open for a few hours between those constant room reallocations for Test&Go folks, I could take a peek how that looks like as well.
