Somehow the feeling of being the sucker tourist fleeced for $60 parking is worse than the feeling of being a cheapskate walking 15 min to car. It is not the "afford" thing at all.

Also i hope my kids may learn that the saved $60 can be used on a gaming mouse or smth...
agreed. I'm retired. Have no need for the money necessarily but the food bank in my town can use that money more and the walk is healthy. 15-20min walk along a beach in whale season sounds great to me
