Extras included in the rate where the number of guests is highly relevant. i.e. breakfast or half board or all inclusive or resort credit, etc.

Any normal city centre hotel with a lounge won't care if 2 people show up for a standard room booking. These days I show up with my partner and 2 year-old, but never bother to change the default setting of 1 person --> never an issue, even with 3 guests...

Pro tip - if you are staying at an AC by yourself, book it for two to sometimes get double the daily $10 credit...
