Hi, first time post on this forum hoping someone can help me?

I’m flying LHR-DOH-HKT return next month and booked flights In business on a R fare class ticket, at the time of booking the R class was the business light fare and didn’t include lounge access or seat selection, However when last November they released a new ‘Light Fare” P and R class was now to include lounge access it was also suggested by Qatar management to several websites that anyone currently booked on an R class fare would receive the new benefits?

As an aside due to multiple schedule changes I’m currently booked in C Class but i paid for R class.

Can anyone advise if lounge access should be included as the website is currently saying that i need to pay to access the lounge?
