If you arrive into T5B you can use the security channel there for any departing flight, as long as you make it clear to the agent that you know a) the existence of a tunnel, and b) where it is. Makes the connection timeline slightly less worrying, assuming you are indeed mobile enough to use said tunnel. Only exception is a domestic connection as there’s no UKBF presence there.
