I think I was quite comprehensive in my write-up from three weeks ago. If you maximise the benefits from the elite Happy Four Hours in the hotel's pub then you won't be in a fit state to explore any other local establishments.

One the other hand, I did have a walk around the hotel and TBH it didn't seem like much of a pub/bar/restaurant district unless you are after Lebanese food (in which case, you're in exactly the right place). You're probably better off walking/tubing to Soho at the other end of Oxford Street for a much better choice of nightlife.
