Looks like I'm the first to post about this new property in Midtown Atlanta on here! Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend this property generally.

The hotel rooms occupy floors 10-16 of a building that appears to be the parking garage for the hotel, a large office tower with a Google logo on it, and a condominium building. Parking occupies floors 2-7, floor 8 is the hotel's fitness center, floor 9 is meeting space and the outdoor pool deck (that connects to the offices and condos, as well), and the rooms are on 10-16. When you walk into the lobby on the 1st floor, you are basically walking into a restaurant. A la the Moxy brand, the check-in desk is at the restaurant's bar - there is no traditional lobby space (except maybe a few couches that also appeared to be used as restaurant seating).

I arrived around 9:30 AM and thought I was lost. Once I confirmed the big computers were check-in, I headed over and found the front desk associate to be quite nice. She apologized for the lack of upgrades (only base rooms were available online - I had already checked prior to arriving) and proactively asked if I needed a late checkout. I was put in a standard King on the top floor overlooking the pool (I could anticipate noise issues once the pool bar opens up in March as I heard a yoga class being taught in the lawn yesterday afternoon). My first room had the TV falling off the wall - literally it looked like an earthquake struck. I took a photo and returned to the desk - the agent was very surprised and quickly moved me a few rooms down the hallway (that room had a stable TV).

The room was quite nice - modern-looking (see photos). The bed was very comfortable in terms of mattress, covers, and pillows (though a couple of the pillows were a bit lumpy - feathery). The shower worked well (could have used a wand, though). The one issue was the rather warm-leaning climate control - definitely could have pumped out better AC. The room came with a Google Nest Hub - became useful as a white noise machine during the aforementioned yoga class conflicting with my napping schedule. Annoyingly, the TV used the Sonifi Chromecast system (a la Hyatt), which is worthless for me right now as these systems don't work with YouTube casting.

Cleanliness could be slightly improved - some small details missed on the toilet and some crumbs in the bar chair. Just a lack of thoroughness I often find with these hip, newer properties.

There was some rather loud bass-music going on on my floor last night around Midnight. I called down to the front desk, and I stopped noticing it within about 10 minutes (Midtown likely attracts a party-oriented element due to the presence of nearby clubs).

Interestingly, turndown service was provided - I came back last night to a made bed, emptied trash cans, and extra bottles of water.

Breakfast is in the lobby restaurant. Elites get the continental (muesli, fruit, and pastry) or $20 off their bill. I opted for the full breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit. The food was quite good. Service was pretty slow - food took a long time to come out, and other tables were getting antsy. Gratuity was already added on the bill and was covered by the voucher in addition to the $20. The full breakfast was $22, and I paid $5 for coffee, so I ended up only paying around $9 for the overage + the tax.

Overall, I think this is a good property that will continue to get better as growing pains are worked out. It does seems a tad expensive for Atlanta, though.
