Some of you may have read my post last month about my great 12 night HH reward stay at the Paris Hilton. I've just booked another 12 nights reward at the Paris Hilton for June, but all HH could offer is the standard queen room. According to HH, deluxe kings are not available for award stays and the reservation clerk couldn't explain how I had deluxe king reservations last month (yes it was a reservation, not a checkin upgrade). Well, the Paris was a great stay partly because of the great room and Tower views. Can anyone advise what the standard queen room is like? I know my Gold may be upgraded at checkin (but I'm there during the Paris Open so I doubt the upgrade possibility).
I'm considering changing my reservation to the Arc de Triomphe where king is available but the posts seem mixed. Comments or advice, anyone? Thanks.
