So for a little more detail about the hotel, I loved the King Suite. XX07 is probably the best view over Emirates Palace and the Presidential Palace. XX08 and XX09 would probably be amazing over the Corniche.

Fruits and three different snacks left in the room. Small refrigerator for your items next to the wet bar.

Electronic controls with different mood lighting settings. Gigantic wrap around balcony and high ceiling with floor-to-ceiling windows. Two sofas in the living room big enough to lie down on. Large table with six chairs in the "separated by a divider" dining room. Half bath for guests. Separate seating area in bedroom. Good selection of international TV channels.

Every member of staff is trained to a five-star level. Public spaces are spectacular and clean. Even better than the Conrad next door.

Only complaints, as others have mentioned, is a lack of outlets. Also, the LED panel by the bed is so bright I had to prop a pillow against it to get blackout conditions.

Breakfast was outstanding. All egg dishes were made to order. I thought they stopped serving on weekdays at 10:30 am. I was walking by at 11:07 am one morning and it looked like they were still serving. They invited me in and still served a full breakfast. That NEVER happens anywhere. Great selection and quality.

I can't imagine this hotel was running over 20% occupancy last week. The hotel was just deserted. I probably would have taken a dinner or had cocktails at Lexx, but as someone mentioned upthread, there was no one there. So if you're looking for a big city hustle vibe, this wasn't it.

If you need a PCR test, these guys will come to you for AED 99 with results in 24 hours. Used them twice. Super reliable with good customer service. Only caveat, they cut it close with my outbound flight, so if you do need it back ASAP, use the rush option: https://pcr.justlife.com/en-AE/pcr-at-home

I have no Hyatt status and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. My corporate rate was around AED 900++ for the suite which seems like a steal for what I got. This and the Waldorf Palm (suite accommodations) are my two best stays on record in the region.
