Thank you for the reply. That helped a lot. I agree about buying speculatively, or banking the miles being not good. I need to buy two business tickets to Australia for the end of the year, and the prices currently are INSANE right now. There is no guarantee the airfare will come down before all seats are sold. Which prompted my question with buying miles. Thanks again.
