I don't know if they are still doing it, but those who were members of the BA SW Pacific scheme were/are being moved across to Qantas together with their status and miles.

Benefits are similar and mileages required similar. One big difference is the ability to earn tier credits on any discount economy fares rather than the YBH (from July) only of BA
