Mr. Ericka says the clay shooting is very well suited to people who don’t have much gun experience. The guns are great quality and the instructors are very good with beginners. He says if anything, people with lots of gun experience will be the ones to get bored. This was the 5 stand sporting clays. They also do a walking course in the summer which might be more interesting.
The ATV covers a lot of ground and is a geat way to see most of the ranch and the surrounding countryside. You won’t get that experience with mountain biking though it will be better exercise!
The ghost town is not hokey, but it’s pretty small. I recommend you drive yourself. We were told the ATV tour there is not pretty and you can control how much time you spend there if you take your own car. It’s super easy to find.
No canoe. It was too cold in October.
The spa was awesome! We both loved our massage therapist and the tents are lots of fun.
Yes, the balloon trip was going to be expensive! But it looks amazing… and how pretty that new balloon is!
Make sure you do the chuckwagon dinner. We missed out on that because it wasn’t available in the fall. Hope this helps.
