I will be going to a concert at Red Rocks, but I have never really spent any time in Denver (aside from passing through on planes, trains, and automobiles). Aside from the Thompson, which is a bit out of my budget, which hotel/location would be best for a globalist on their one and only trip to town? This will be over Labor Day weekend. It looks like just about every other hotel is in the $150-225 range.
