If you are considering big sky this winter, don’t do it unless they receive massive new snow. A few days ago, I spent the day dodging rocks on the groomers in fairly icy conditions. Bald spots everywhere. Big Sky did not get the early season snowfall that other western resorts received and probably has the worst snow coverage in the west.
