I have a flight booked with an overnight connection of 7 hours. I fly GJT-PHX-DFW-OKC.

I got a steal of a deal using miles on a ticket about a week in advance. The Phoenix to DFW flight gets into Dallas around midnight, and the flight to Oklahoma City leaves at 7:00 a.m. in the next morning. I will need access to my bags. Can I check them just to DFW and then recheck them the next morning before the flight Oklahoma City?
