Using Marriott Gift Card internationally (Australia and Thailand))

Hello Guys,

I hope everyone and your loved ones are safe and healthy. I just snag two biz tickets from US to SYD. I still have a $250 Marriott GC and I am trying to buy two more taking advantage of AMEX offer $50 off $250 cuz the Marriott near my house is selling GC at Front Desk. Does anyone know I can use Marriott GC in Marriott Properties overseas especially in Australia and Thailand? if so, what rate is eligible, is AAA ok? and how is the exchange rate? Thanks so much. I searched on forum first it looks like the only one thread has been closed. Thanks guys.
