I found a few old threads on this but nothing recent so I want to ask:

I have a 12 hour 7 minute domestic connection in LAX (early flight in, last flight out). It is booked as a connection, not multi-city (tried to do multi-city but website said connections cannot be booked as multi-city - had to call in to get the unusual connection). Paid ticket.

Will AA check my bags through to my final destination? Entire route is domestic CONUS.
