I have read on a number of reviews that they tend to start in the forward cabin and work up toward the mini cabin near the bar. Is this the case?
Also, even stranger question, but can anyone advise which seat in business you'd be best to sit in on the A380 2 class to see the engine view? I have a feeling on the 2 class the cabin is too far back.

My experience is that they start from 2 places simultaneously. One from the front (row 7), working back and one from somewhere halfway back, also working towaarrds the rear. They will come to your seat first with their 'device' (looks like something between a phone and a tablet but I have never looked that closely at it) to take your order. Once they have all the orders, they'll lay your table and bring the food. No trolleys involved.
If you want to see the engine from the front, you'll have to fly First, I'm afraid
