OK thanks Oliver, I see what you mean now.

Still don't see why LH/OS would request photo ID at check-in only from those passengers with e-tix that don't have a cc or M/M nr. on file. After all, the following pax can still use the kiosk without showing photo ID:
- pax with paper tix
- pax with e-tix and a M/M or cc nr. on file
