Last year I took a trip at spring break and all economy ( F, G and H ) lots were full. I was forced to pay $42 a day in the main lot and parking cost more than my airfare. I have another trip planned this spring break and I won't do that again. If there are not any easy alternatives ( getting to the airport an extra hour early to deal with the parking ), I'm going to Midway. Any ideas if I come upon this situation. I checked the web site the morning of my trip and it said spaces were available. When I got there barricades were up and 2 guys standing there told me my only option was to go to daily parking.

I asked about some discount for the daily parking and the guys at the lot said no go and the attendant at check out said no.
