Help a newbie - is there a better way of doing this?

Hi,

I'm very new to this but have been lurking for a while. I've managed to put together a deal that looks good to me - but would appreciate your advice if you think it can be improved.

OK. Need to travel from LHR to BKK & JFK on business (but my own company so price matters!) so here's my plan.

- Buy a one way D class LHR to BKK with LH for ~£950.

Then pick up a ticket in BKK thats also in D class and allows:

BKK-FRAx-LON-FRAx-NYC-FRA-BKK
valid one year, date changes OK, and costs $3500 incl tax.

I have plenty of *A standby upgrade certs so hope to use these to upgrade some sectors to F if possible.

All in i reckon that it gets about 63k miles in the process with the possibility of upgrading some of the sectors to F.

Your advice on how to improve on the price, comfort or mileage would be appreciated!
