In case you missed the flyer, this is the business model for corporate America now. Generate as many MRCs and ARCs as possible and make it difficult for consumer to cancel. It's why Microsoft sells annual subscriptions instead of one-time software purchase with updates. And why Peleton sells monthly video access not just bikes. Amex would love for everyone to get AU cards rather than pay one-time guest fees. Because the AFs live on forever.
