I am going to make a reservation at a full service Marriott with my spouse and a teenager. Obviously i would like to have two beds, which is also my preference in my profile. However, room with 2 beds is in a higher rate than room with just 1 bed.

My question is which room should I reserve? If bed type is guaranteed for my Platinum status, does it mean I can go ahead and book a room with 1 king and will be given a room with 2 beds when checked-in?
