It would seem that way indeed with MAD-MIA being AY. I cannot validate this other than by doing a purchase but that's non refundable with this ota. However it is not impossible to have a ticket from a single ticket stock for two differently marketed segments each possibly on different metal. Crazy!

But my original question still stands. Would there be any emerald check in allowance in this case for plain economy? I am assuming the answer is no, certainly for the LHR-MAD leg?
