I do not understand how the redemption for FRA-LHR-JFK in J on an offpeak is priced. The quote I got is 65 000 Avios + taxes. FRA-LHR is band 1 so 8250 Avios and LHR-JFK is band 5 so 50 000 Avios.
What I am missing or misunderstanding ?
