If the room type is “King or 2 Queens/Doubles”, your preference during reservation should be guaranteed per the “guaranteed check mark in your reservation”.

But if the room type you reserved doesn’t have what you are looking for, then ime, it’s not guaranteed. So you can’t book the single queen room and expect your preference of two queens be guaranteed.
