I do agree that Y sounds horrible to most of us who are regular J fliers. My best friend has never flown J and once he upgraded to W from Y on a Dallas to Beijing flight. He said it wasn't worth the extra and was happy at the back in the future. I personally try to fly J because I am a bit bigger than I ought to be and the Avios earning is highly attractive for the routes I fly. But if I had to fly Y again I'd find a way to make the most of it. Headphones on, couple of glasses of wine and watch some movies.
