I'm ticketed for LAX-NAN in J but hedged my bets too long on booking the return. Was trying to decide between two dates, hoping it'd gel out whether Australia or New Zealand would open up for a side trip. But I woke up one morning and J was completely gone before that happened. Kind of kicking myself I just didn't book one of the dates. But there was a lot of J inventory out there for a long time and I got complacent. Lesson Learned.

I'm with you on Coach & would not take that chance on the upgrade bid. Am thinking to keep the NAN ticket for another month or so & see what comes up. Meanwhile considering Maldives as a backup.
