Thanks for the info. I'm flying into Milan, departing from Venice. I'd rather sit in the center row by myself if there's no view on departure but I'm willing to put up with a row mate if I can get some decent pictures on departure. I took the train the only other time I visited Venice and that was 30 years ago.

What about flying into Milan? Is there any point to trying to get a window seat?
