I have to say that I am uncertain which to admire most - her accumulation of costumes and shoes, or your powers of exaggeration. One thing I never ever do is "prune" my husbands suitcase and he would not even dare to open my handbag (purse for our American friends). People have always asked me what I would want if I became wealthy - I have always said that I would engage a housekeeper and a personal maid. My husband replies that the positions are not vacant as he is already in situ and I could not afford to lay him off. I actually got my husband into hand-baggage mode but it is not easy.

A kind soul has asked if I would speak to his wife. The answer is that I rise to challenges - but ones that I have a chance of winning!
